Single 8mm is a motion picture film format introduced by Fujifilm of Japan in 1965, but it has since  been discontinued.  Using this older stock gave us access to older cameras and their lenses that were built for a different era of filmmaking. 

We also utilized granular synthesis while building the soundscape for the film. This type of synthesis  manipulates  sound allowing  it to be closer  to reality. A  coalescence of music  and city sounds is what resulted.
